“iDevice is Connected, But Can’t be Recognized” While Using 3uTools?

Problem Description:

 

After the iDevice is connected to the computer, 3uTools can't recognize the iDevice, but still reminds you that "Please connect iDevice to PC using USB cable". At this moment, the reason may be:

 

a.) The iDevice unstably connects to the computer. 

 

b.) iTunes driver hasn't been installed on the computer.

 

 

 

Solutions:

 

1. Check the connection between iDevice and PC

 

Please check if your USB cable and computer’s USB port can work normally. Because in the process of using 3uTools, the abnormal connection may also cause the connection failure.

 

 

*Tips: If the connection failure is caused by the abnormal connection, please view this tutorial.

 

2. Check if iTunes has been installed on the computer

 

Click “Control Panel”→"Programs and Features”. Then check if iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support have been installed on the computer. If not, please restart 3uTools, then reinstall iTunes via 3uTools.

 

 

 

3. If the above methods can't solve the connection issue, please try them on another computer.

최근에 다시 frida 설치해야 할 일이 있어서 재설치를 진행하였습니다.

 

환경)

iOS 13.3.1

소스 repo)

파이썬은 3.7.5 버전 설치

 

윈10 PC

\Python37\Scripts 경로에서

python3

pip3 install frida==12.6.21

pip3 install frida-tools==4.1.0

 

삭제가 필요한 경우

ex) pip3 uninstall frida==(version) 입력

 

아이폰 디바이스 cydia 에서

python 및 Frida for A12+ devices 설치

 

여기까지 셋팅 후 기기내

/usr/sbin/frida-server 삭제 -> frida-server-12.6.21-ios-arm64 -> 파일명 frida-server 변경 후 -> /usr/sbin 경로 이동

 

chmod 777 frida-server-12.6.21-ios-arm64

근데 이번에 새로 Frida를 설치했는데, 계속 Failed to load the Frida native extension 이라면서 오류가 나서 해결 방법을 적는다.

오류 전체 메시지는 다음과 같다.

> frida-ps -U *** Failed to load the Frida native extension: DLL load failed: 지정된 모듈을 찾을 수 없습니다. 내가 사용한 Python의 버전은 3.6과 3.8이었는데, 둘 다에서 같은 오류가 났다.

찾아보니 python 3.8에서는 아직 Frida를 지원하지 않는다고 하고, 3.6은 어느 순간부터 저런 오류 증상이 나타나는 것 같다.

해결 방법은 python 3.7 버전 설치이다.

Python 3.7.5

위의 사이트에서 다시 3.7대 python을 설치하고 아래의 명령어를 통해 다시 frida를 재설치 하면 정상적으로 동작한다.

> pip install frida > pip install frida-tools > frida --version 12.7.26
